Terry Flint

LPC

Terry is a Licensed Professional Counselor having earned his second Masters degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. Terry has had extensive experience working with adolescents and parents, having formerly served in secondary education as a high school teacher, coach, school administrator, and lately as an Licensed Professional Counselor. He has spent over a decade working with men and has expanded his training and practice to couples therapy. Terry incorporates a biblical worldview and approach to the counseling he provides both clinically and spiritually. Terry has had training in IMAGO therapy for couples, Emotional Focused Therapy (EDMR), Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and inner healing.

My goal in counseling is in seeing people believe again. The thrust of my energy is to help my clients find relief as they find perspective and healing. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples to find clarity and purpose in their lives. I often employ techniques that challenge perspective to increase awareness, focus, and promote positive choosing, and relating.
