Dr. Marie McDade
PhD, PMHNP-BC, RN
Dr. Marie McDade is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has over 30 years of experience in nursing, including 15 years in behavioral health nursing working with those having serious, chronic mental illness, dual diagnoses, and chemical dependency. She has years of experience in anger management education and some experience in domestic violence.
Dr. McDade holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Nursing with a concentration in bio-behavioral health nursing from the University of Michigan along with a Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing also from The University of Michigan. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association. She also has a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate.
Dr. McDade has experience conducting psychiatric evaluations, formulating psychiatric diagnoses, treatment plan development, psychopharmacology, and medication reviews. She has worked with culturally and socioeconomically diverse populations, and high-risk minority populations. Her target population ages 13 through adult.
