Emilee Skinner received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the Oakland University and earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University, with a focus on family systems. Emilee started her career off working within the Deaf community carrying an associate’s of interpreting in American Sign Language. One of her many passions is pouring into children, teaching them about social and emotional learning in a fun and creative ways. Skinner will work with the children, the child’s teachers, and his or her family in order to develop behavioral and social skills. Emilee values taking a strength-based approach to her therapy. She is trained and experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Family Therapy along with Education and skill-development strategies to help her clients surpass the goals that they established as a team with a holistic approach.
