Denise Hoffman is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Denise received her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts majoring in Counseling from Eastern Michigan University. Denise has a caring and kind disposition that will make anyone feel comfortable and at ease in sharing with her their deepest struggles and hurts. Denise has extensive experience working in the mental health field, serving in outpatient settings such as Renewal Center for over 20 years, along with her most recent role of providing compassionate hospice care to patients and their families who are suffering loss. Denise is an experienced Stephen Ministry leader, volunteering in her community as a pastoral counselor, and is also a trained Star Behavioral Health Provider serving her fellow veterans. Denise has a passion to help those individual, couples and families who have suffered losses through childhood issues, depression, anxiety issues, relationship issues, abandonment, divorce and death. Denise believes in a Biblical based approach to counseling when clients request to use their faith in their therapy process.
