Caroline Giblin
LLPC

Caroline Giblin is a Limited-License Professional Counselor (LLPC) and has worked in pastoral counseling for over 30 years. She was the former director of Restoring The Family- Central Michigan, Inc. Caroline received her BS in Elem. Ed., PreK/K, & Reading endorsements from University of Houston-Clear Lake City (UHCLC-TX) and graduated from the Townsend Institute of Leadership & Counseling, Concordia University-Irvine, CA, with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Caroline counsels to address the complex needs of everyone: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Thinking, feeling, and behavior patterns will be addressed using a Person-Centered, Integrated approach. She will gladly offer a Christian perspective, when requested.
Her additional areas of training for counseling include working with teens, foster families, adoptive families, young adults, couples, multi-generational families, single-parent families, Family Restoration, Boundaries Training, Parenting Training, Collaboration with CPS, and referrals for residential treatment. She has also had additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT), Group Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and Trauma-Informed Therapy.
Caroline is also a licensed, ordained IFOC Chaplain, trained in Crisis-Debriefing, CISM and GRIN for individuals and groups. She previously worked as an Elementary/Middle School Teacher and Librarian in Public, Christian and Charter School settings.
