Anne Davis

Anne Davis, a Limited License Professional Counselor (LLPC) and an NLC psychotherapist from Colorado received her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Colorado Christian University, Lakewood, CO. Anne has been working in private practice over twenty years with women, couples and youth. She began her career working in a variety of inpatient mental health facilities as well as with homeless women with children. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, transitional stress, and has worked with high functioning Autism.

Anne’s approach offers respect and empathy, while experience with many populations having a variety of issues allows her to meet clients unique needs, and goals. How people “do” relationship impacts key areas of life. This can result in, or trigger, depression, anxiety, loss, emotional pain, or other symptoms. Anne helps clients navigate relationships in a healthier way involving successful conflict, improving listening and communication skills central to lasting changes. Anne incorporates faith into the healing process for clients who desire a Christian perspective.

Personally, Anne has been married for 27 years to Tim Davis LPC; together they have two children. She is native to Midland, MI and moved back here with her family having lived in Colorado many years. She enjoys leading spiritual journeys which encourage women in their life’s challenges. Understanding your story in light of God’s work in your life creates freedom. Honoring and caring for clients, she understands that no matter what they are struggling with all have greatness and challenges. There is a new kind of stress we are facing like nothing we have ever faced before. Isolation and grief with ongoing, over arching anxiety is leading to a need to recover lost relationships, and building trusting community.
