CHANGE THIS (STAFF NAME)

I'm Suzi and I specialize in working with remarkable people like you who have faced adversity head-on. I am passionate about helping people make peace with the past, build a better future, and help embrace your strength and resilience every step of the way. I became passionate about combating human trafficking when I first learned about it in 2010. Hearing stories about the pain and trauma caused by human trafficking prompted me to become an advocate for victims and I decided to pursue an education that would teach me how to help those who have experienced any forms of trauma. During my internship program I worked with survivors of human trafficking, and it opened my eyes to the many complex traumas that one may go through. Witnessing firsthand the change that counseling can make in the lives of victims when adequate support, resources, and care are provided has been a beautiful experience and that is what I would like to help provide what is needed toward healing.

In 2012 I received my Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology at Rochester University. In May of 2023, I received my Master of Arts degree in Counseling at Spring Arbor University and currently I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor. Prior to my degree, I spent 7 years working in a psychiatric hospital where I was able to learn about the needs of those struggling with severe anxiety, depression, addiction, brokenness, abuse, and neglect. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey towards healing.
